Stacey R. Pinatelli, PsyD

Stacey is a psychologist fellow who earned her Doctor of Clinical Psychology, PsyD
from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Emeryville, CA. She completed her clinical internship at the VA Northern California Health Care System, East Bay, and is currently finishing her postdoctoral fellowship at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center.

Dr. Pinatelli has extensive clinical experience with a diverse range of clients, including veterans, adolescents, trauma survivors of all gender identities, and individuals seeking neuropsychological assessments. Her work with veterans and trauma survivors has provided her with a robust foundation in evaluating and treating traumatic stress and serious mental illness (SMI). She specializes in trauma-informed treatments and has contributed to research integrating acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) with eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) and written exposure therapy.

​Described as “empathetic and compassionate,” Dr. Pinatelli’s commitment to aiding childhood
sexual abuse survivors is evident in her workbook, Hope and Healing for Survivors, which has
been praised as “grounded, compassionate, and empowering.” She is an active member of the
Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) and the American Psychological
Association (APA), and she has previously served as an AmeriCorps Member with the
Corporation for National and Community Service.
